- Gradual onset of fever, general weakness and malaise, followed days later by headache, sore throat, muscle pain, chest pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, cough and abdominal pain; severe cases may show facial swelling and oral bleeding.

- 6 to 21 days.
