Symptoms
Mild fever to a severe rise in temperature, with severe headache, pain behind the eyes, muscle and joint pain, and a skin rash.

From 3 days to two weeks, usually about 4 to 7 days.

No vaccination; observe personal protection against mosquito bites. Avoid the outdoors after sunset, use repellents and insecticides, sleep under nets, and wear long sleeves and trousers.
